Followed some Quad track into a different aea today.
Backcountry Research Back Forty.. doing it's job well. Keeping a spare tube on the frame. No more forgetting a tube because of taking a different bike.
The day before heading down to Toronto new CX tires finally arrived.
On Saturday headed out in perfect wind conditions to do the Zoo Loop. Perfect being 80kmh wind gusts. Grinding into the wind near the old dump.
Last time I did this loop was on the Rail.
Did it 3 times. Not bad but have figured out I need to switch the handlbars as I like the Ritchey Biomax bars. I find it is less of a drop. It was what the Rail had and is the best bar for me and my style of riding.
So after about 6 years and little ride last year at the Tour Du Buttertart I finally came back to road. Well at least a CX bike as I want to be able to ride a bit more then just tarmac. But understand I'll still be riding a mountainb bike as well but now I can do more.
